This fume-free organic hair salon recently opened in Tribeca. Owner Joe Murray uses organic products that are void of ammonia, artificial fragrance, and parabens. For special occasions (brides!), there is a fume room that is sealed off from the rest of the salon where the use of hairspray is permitted.

This new Lower East Side Neapolitan-style pizza jointis cooking over twenty variations (the four cheese and mushroom are a favorite), and will also serve antipasti, calzones, and pastas. You know what's better than happy hour? Italian happy hour at Da Mikele. Join this Southern-Italian restaurant in Tribeca on Tuesday nights for their Sapore di Sale happy-hour party. Actually, it's four hours of happiness where you may enjoy FREE appetizers like pizza, skewers, and pasta (6-10pm) in addition to FREE beer from 6-8pm (8-10pm beers are $5, this week the beer is Moretti!). It's pretty casual, but there's a DJ and photo booth. Translation: GO! Through Labor Day.

Wilson Henley and Bruce Glickman have owned this antique gem for 12 years and their in-house Duane Modern line of furniture is classically inspired and expertly crafted.
